The first step is to book a free consultation with one of our clinicians or submit an online request.
From here, after assessing your hair loss condition, your pattern and stage of hair loss, and your medical profile, we can decide if you are suitable for treatment.
It is important to be mindful of advertised hair loss products which have no clinical evidence to support their claims for men’s hair loss prevention.

"feel confident that there is a solution"
"cannot believe the transformation"
I was quite sceptical about whether the treatment would actually work, but seriously, I cannot believe the transformation. I’m gradually getting my hair back and I’m feeling the best I ever had.
Cause of Male Hair Loss Prevention
To understand why we use the male hair loss treatment methods that we do at Boss Clinic, it’s important to get a basic understanding of what causes men to lose their hair.
Hair loss is genetically predisposed from birth for both men and women via an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. This enzyme turns testosterone into another hormone derivative called dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
This is the culprit that attaches to hair follicles on the top of the head, causing them to shrink with every growth cycle.
As a result, hair becomes thinner until the hair follicles become dysfunctional, which in turn, causes hair to stop growing.
Men between the ages of 18 and 35 often have high testosterone levels, meaning that they are most likely to experience these symptoms.
Primary Hair Loss Treatment Medications
Step one: Block DHT from reaching hair follicles, thus preventing further hair loss.
Finasteride 1mg is classed as a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, which means that it prevents the formation of DHT. This product is medically-proven by regulatory bodies around the world and can be used in conjunction with Minoxidil (see below). Some Minoxidil formulations contain hair growth boosters like Medroxyprogesterone (MPG), Azelaic Acid (AA) and/or caffeine which, although not advised as clinically proven hair loss treatments, can assist with the blockage of DHT locally around the follicle.
Step two: Ensure hair follicles are receiving as much ‘hair-friendly’ blood as possible.
Minoxidil, when partnered with Finasteride 1mg, creates a dynamic duo. It acts by increasing blood flow to the areas it is applied to and opens up potassium channels, which has been found to prevent hair loss in men and women. By elevating nutrients to the hair follicles, Minoxidil prevents shrinkage of the follicles and further hair loss. It also promotes hair regrowth in many cases.
