At Boss Clinic, we understand that circumstances can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to ensure appointment times are managed fairly while allowing our team to provide the best possible service to all clients.
Paid Appointments & Treatment Programs
For all paid appointments and treatments, including appointments that form part of a prepaid treatment program, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
If you:
- Cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment;
- Request to reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment; or
- Fail to attend your appointment without providing notice (no-show),
any appointment fee, deposit or booking payment associated with that appointment will be non-refundable and may be forfeited.
Appointments Included in a Treatment Program
Where an appointment forms part of a prepaid treatment program or package, such as an in-clinic laser treatment, a late cancellation or no-show will be treated as a used treatment session.
If you fail to attend your scheduled treatment without providing the required 48 hours’ notice, that session will be deducted from the remaining treatments included in your program and will not be replaced or credited back to your program.
For example, if your program includes a set number of in-clinic laser treatments and you do not attend one of your scheduled sessions without the required notice, that session will be counted as completed and your remaining program balance will be adjusted accordingly.
Appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Providing adequate notice allows our team the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client.
Complimentary Initial Consultations
Initial consultations at Boss Clinic are complimentary.
We understand that plans can change; however, if you are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you contact our team as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Where a client has consecutive no-shows or repeatedly fails to attend complimentary consultations without contacting our team, Boss Clinic may require a $50 booking deposit before another consultation can be scheduled.
This deposit is used to secure your appointment and encourage attendance.
If you attend your consultation and choose to proceed with a Boss Clinic treatment program, the $50 deposit will be credited towards the final payment of your treatment program.
If an appointment secured with a $50 deposit is missed, cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment, the deposit may be forfeited.
Medication Orders
Medication orders are processed with our compounding pharmacy only once payment has been received and confirmed.
Once payment has been processed and your medication order has been confirmed and submitted to the compounding pharmacy, the order cannot generally be cancelled, changed or refunded due to a change of mind.
This is because the pharmacy begins processing your medication specifically in accordance with the order submitted.
Please ensure you are happy to proceed before making payment. If you believe there has been an error with your medication order, please contact the Boss Clinic team as soon as possible.
Product Returns
Due to health, hygiene and safety considerations, Boss Clinic does not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges on opened, used or partially used consumable and personal-care products.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Shampoos and conditioners
- Hair styling products
- Hair and scalp treatments
- Creams, serums and topical products
- Other consumable, hygiene or personal-care products
- Any product that has been opened, used, unsealed or otherwise appears to have been used
Please choose your products carefully before purchasing.
For eligible non-consumable products, any change-of-mind return accepted by Boss Clinic must be unused, unopened, in its original packaging and in a condition suitable for resale. Acceptance of a change-of-mind return is at the discretion of Boss Clinic.
This change-of-mind policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, significantly different from its description or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees, please contact our team so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy where required.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur. Where appropriate, Boss Clinic may consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
Any exception to this policy is at the discretion of Boss Clinic, subject to your rights under applicable law.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where you are legally entitled to a refund, replacement, repair, cancellation or other remedy, those rights will continue to apply regardless of this policy
