As someone who works closely with clients on their hair loss programs, I’ve noticed some questions that hardly ever come up (but really should!).
So, here are a few questions I wish more people asked, and my honest answers to help you along the way.
1. “How does my daily routine impact my hair growth?”
Here’s an example. A diet low in essential vitamins can make it harder for your scalp and hair follicles to thrive, while high stress can trigger hair thinning or even hair loss.
Beyond products, look at lifestyle habits: eat a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and avoid high-stress situations where possible.
A healthy routine sets the foundation for any hair loss treatment to do its best work.
2. “Can my styling habits affect natural hair regrowth?”
Absolutely! Tight hairstyles and heat styling can damage your scalp and hair.
If you’re on a hair growth program, try going for low-manipulation hairstyles and minimising heat.
It’s an easy way to help your scalp and follicles rest and recover.
3. “What can I do to support natural hair regrowth in between treatments?”
Consistency is key. While in-clinic treatments like PRP or laser therapy make a huge difference, you can support your hair at home.
Regularly using our Scalp Miracle Treatment, keeping your scalp clean with a gentle shampoo and conditioner like our Vegan Thickening Twin Pack, and even spending a few minutes massaging your scalp daily to increase blood flow all make a difference.
4. “How long does it really take to see results?”
This is a big one! Hair growth is a process that doesn’t happen overnight.
While we wish there was a quick fix, most clients start seeing initial changes in around three months – and fuller natural hair regrowth in six to twelve months.
With consistent care and realistic expectations, you’re giving your hair the best chance for lasting results.
5. “Can certain habits stop hair loss altogether?”
While hair loss is often due to factors like genetics, lifestyle changes can certainly help slow the process.
Simple things like managing stress, eating a healthy diet, and taking extra care of your scalp all play a part in slowing hair loss.
Combine these with our recommended treatments, and you’re doing everything possible to give your hair the best shot.
6. “What kind of progress should I track?”
For clients on our treatment plans, we take the progress photos for you—so you clearly see the fruits of your labour!
Natural hair regrowth is often gradual, but our microscopic hair and scalp analysis every three (3) months will help you see the healthier, thicker hair coming in around your hairline or crown.
Tracking progress this way keeps you motivated and on track.
Remember, regrowing your natural hair is a long-term commitment, and the more you know, the better equipped you are to support healthy, natural growth.
Take care,
